Unreal Script Editor

Built on the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell (Integrated mode), Pixel Mine's break-through Unreal Script Editor is familiar, fast, and sits in a customizable development environment completely extensible with macros and add-ins. Several convenient built-in features such as full UnrealScript 3 Intellisense, support for project templates, and new project item templates make the development experience more user-friendly for both programmers and designers. Testing tools in our Editor allow you build scripts from within the IDE and launch the game with your mod enabled.


Install & Setup
IMPORTANT: This product is licensed for non-commerical use only.

1. If you already have Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 installed, skip to step 2. If not, download and install the Visual Studio 2008 Shell (Integrated Mode) by running vside.enu.exe. This installer may take a significant amount of time to complete, depending on your system’s configuration. (Note: Only Standard Edition or better is supported. In particular, users with one of the Express Editions need to follow step 1.)
2. The download for the latest version of the editor can be found on the Pixel Mine Forums*. Once downloaded, install the UnrealScript Studio IDE by running UnrealPackageSetup-[version].msi
